Installation

>>>  into JDBS

  • Open JBoss Central perspective
  • Click on the Software/Update tab
  • Check the JBoss Data Virtualization Development package under JBoss Developer Studio Integration Stack
  • Click Install button
  • In the update site tree view, select all or or just the 4 Teiid Designer features
  • Select Next >
    • Accept any additional dependencies and license agreements, then click Finish to complete.
  • When installation is complete you will be prompted to re-launch Eclipse to insure the new features are fully operational.

  • Download and install Eclipse.
    • NOTE: If installing on Windows, you will need to run eclipse using a 32 bit JVM. 
  • Start your Eclipse environment.
  • Select the Help > Install New Software... action from the main menu.
  • On the Available Software page, click the Add ... button.
  • Name: Enter JBossASTools (or another unique name)
  • Location: Enter http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/release/kepler/integration-stack/  into the Location text area.  Click OK.
  • In the update site tree view, expand the Data Virtualization folder and select the 4 Teiid Designer features
  • Select Next >
    • Accept any additional dependencies and license agreements, then click Finish to complete.
  • When installation is complete you will be prompted to re-launch Eclipse to insure the new features are fully operational.

 Note: if the Teiid Designer version in the integration stack is older than the latest version, simply install the latest via :  http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/release/kepler/integration-stack/teiiddesigner/
