Installation
Teiid Requires:
- Java 1.6
- JBoss AS 7.1.1 for Teiid 8.x (JBoss 5.1.0 for Teiid 7.x)
- Teiid Designer for creation of non-dynamic VDBs
Additionally you'll need to supply any third-party jars needed to connect to your enterprise sources.
After unzipping the embedded kit, you can quickly begin using the teiid-<version>-jdbc.jar as a JDBC Driver or DataSource.
Follow the quick start and the Teiid Designer documentation to understand how to create a VDB. Use and contribute to the Teiid wiki for additional examples and configuration options for Teiid.
