Red Hat® JBoss® Enterprise SOA Platform
The Red Hat JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform is a set of tools, frameworks and runtimes for developing enterprise service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions. It is made up of an enterprise service bus, business process automation and orchestration technologies, transformation engine, business rules engine, and service registry. It allows you to build, deploy, integrate and orchestrate business services.
Red Hat® JBoss® Enterprise Data Services PlatformRed Hat JBoss Enterprise Data Services Platform (EDSP) is a powerful set of tools and runtime components that make it easy for applications and business processes to integrate and use data from many disparate data sources. EDSP includes tools for creating data views that are accessible through standard protocols (Teiid), a repository for storing metadata (Modeshape), and a robust runtime environment that provides enterprise-class performance, data integrity and security (Teiid). By simultaneously accessing multiple sources of data (databases, files, applications, services) and presenting the data in unified views, EDSP insulates applications from the underlying data source details. Data is accessed in real-time, without the need to copy or move it to a new location. Data may be accessed through JDBC, ODBC or may be published as services through the UDDI registry that makes the data service known through the ESB. JBoss Enterprise Data Services Platform is a superset of JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform (SOA-P) and includes a full-use version of SOA-P to use in integration scenarios requiring data integration, federation or virtualization.
