  I lead the Seam, Weld and CDI TCK projects, am an adviser to the RichFaces project, and a founder of the Arquillian project. I've worked on a number of specifications including JSF 2.0, AtInject and CDI. I am a regular speaker at JUGs and conferences such as Devoxx (Javapolis), JAX, JavaBlend, JSFDays and JBoss World.

  I've been a Java developer for five years, and a PHP developer for seven. I work for Red Hat where I help lead the Seam community. I am also the lead of Seam Catch, a next generation Exception Handling framework extensible to meet all the needs of your application.

  Besides Java my other programming interests include Groovy, Ruby and Gradle. I also enjoy a good book, a game of chess and live theatre. I have a wonderful wife, two daughters and two sons whom I love very much and feel very blessed to have in my life.
