Introduction to Metamatrix Data services
Presented by: Ken Johnson – JBoss Division
Today’s enterprises are faced with the compelling need to make better use of their existing information assets - making that information available to new users, to address new business scenarios for which those assets were not originally designed. Enterprise information resides in many different systems that have grown organically over time. This has resulted in information silos, disconnected and seemingly unrelated to each other. Yet much of this information is in fact related, and tremendous value exists for the enterprise that can integrate and leverage these disparate data sources. This presentation will introduce a data services approach using MetaMatrix Enterprise Data Services Platform.

How to Empower Business Users with MetaMatrix and JBoss Developer Studio
Presented by: Dan Tauber – Exadel
As business infrastructure and databases get more complex, business users need rapid ad-hoc access to enterprise data. Learn how Exadel leveraged JBoss Developer Studio and MetaMatrix to build a Web 2.0 behind-the-firewall enterprise information access tool. With Exadel dVision, IT is freed from the mundane tasks of creating and modifying reports and dashboards, while business users gain as-they-need-it access to crucial enterprise information regardless of the sources. dVision vastly increased the value of IT's existing investment in infrastructure and helps align IT with both business and IT governance goals.

Extending JBoss Seam with Exadel Flamingo
Presented by: Igor Polevoy – Exadel
Seam integrates with AJAX through JSF/RichFaces to provide capabilities for building Rich Internet Applications. However, in the past, there has been no easy way to integrate Seam with other promising RIA technologies like Flex/Flash. But, with Exadel Flamingo, developers can now use an open source set of developer tools and developer framework to provide the "glue" for connecting Flex/Flash to JBoss Seam. In this talk, we will show how Exadel Flamingo works and then discuss plans for other RIA technologies to be supported by Exadel Flamingo.
